[SPORTS] Franck Ribery emerges top transfer target for Liverpool boss Klopp this summer

- Franck Ribery could be on his way to Liverpool this summer - The attacker is without a club after leaving Bayern Munich after last season 

- Ribery, 36, won about 36 major titles with the Bavarians after 12 years at the Allianz Arena Champions League winners Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a surprise summer move for French star Franck Ribery this summer. 

The 36-year-old winger is currently club-less following his departure from Bayern Munich at the end of the 2018-19 season. Ribery clinched his ninth Bundesliga title with the Bavarians at the end of last season before parting ways with the club. 

He also won one Champions League and several other domestic trophies at the Allianz Arena but the highly rated winger is now without a club

Meanwhile, Daily Mail quoting French newspaper L'Equipe, reports that the Reds are willing to make a move for the forward to add depth to their squad next season. 










But, on the other hand, the Merseyside may not make the move owing the the advanced age of the player as his retirement from football should be closer than expected. 

Klopp boasts of a rich attack with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi and exciting youngster Rhian Brewster. 

Though, the former Bayern star will bring experience to the squad if he eventually gets signed by the club, having scored 124 goals in 425 appearances for Bayern.

The forward, who won six German Cups is not thinking of retirement at the moment still thinks he can pursue another season of football.
