When Money Heist returned for season three on Netflix, the team were drawn back together for a new challenge.
After they went their separate ways following their successful heist on the Royal Mint of Spain, they were reunited by the professor (played by Álvaro Morte) and Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó).
This was after one of their own - Rio (Miguel Herrán) - was captured by the Panama authorities while living on an island with Tokyo.
The idea of the new mission was to force the police to release Rio as well as attempting to steal the gold reserves from the Bank of Spain.
Viewers watched as the team took over the Spanish building and began their mission across the third season.
